I won this book from a competition a while ago but haven’t read it yet Your review has made me excited to start it though!

I also love the cover, the electric spark shows a sort of powerful chemistry between the two characters, and implies elements of magic as well as science. It’s a real shame you didn’t enjoy this quite as much as you wanted to – but I’m glad you atleast liked it!
